The work updated to the cut-rite decree Legislative Decree No. 150 of Sept. 1, 2011 (in Official Gazette No. 220 of Sept. 21, 2011), reports the detailed analysis with diagrams and table of normative comparison of the so-called cut-rite decree, or more precisely decree for the reduction and simplification of cognitive procedures as provided for in Article 54 of Law No. 69 of June 18, 2009. Through a rationalization and simplification of the special regulations in civil matters, the measure brings the 33 rites hitherto in existence back to the three basic procedural models provided for in the Code of Civil Procedure: labor rite, summary rite of cognizance and ordinary rite of cognizance. For a better understanding of the legislative decree under comment, it was deemed appropriate to divide this work into five chapters. The first chapter contains general provisions. The second chapter of the legislative decree regulates proceedings governed by the labor procedure. The third chapter covers proceedings governed by the summary procedure, provided for in Articles 702-bis 702-quater of the Code of Civil Procedure. The fourth chapter covers proceedings governed by the ordinary procedure of cognition, that is, Articles 163-310 and 323-408 of the Code of Civil Procedure. The fifth chapter contains the repeals and amendments of individual special laws that provided for the rites subject to simplification.
