The work analyzes the real estate lease contract in all its facets, both with regard to the regulation of residential leases and with reference to leases of real estate intended for use other than residential, for which the so-called fair rent law still applies. Atypical contractual figures, in some ways similar to leases, such as leasing or multilocation of real estate, are then examined, as well as the intimately related tax aspects (such as, e.g., registration of the contract). This is followed by an in-depth study of the figure of the lease contract, understood both as a business lease, with the relevant regulations contained in the Civil Code, and as a lease of rustic land. The second part of the text, on the other hand, is devoted to the "procedural" discipline of lease and rent, with particular attention to both the institutes of license and eviction and those covered by the special legislation on the subject.
